Hello, I'm Jean

I graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science degree concentrating in Public Relations and have been a notary since 2001.  

Certified Yellow and Green Belt with Lean Six Sigma, I understand the importance of efficiency and accuracy. 

In my career I have been a small business owner, a Mortgage Company’s top producing Loan Officer and Manager, worked within the bank as a Short Sale Negotiator and Quality Control Manager and as a Technical Writer.  

These positions have lead me to become familiar with many types of documents needing notarization. 

I have always gone above and beyond to get the job done and will continue to work hard to complete any notary needs while working with your clients for their convenience with professionalism.

Jean actively contributes to her community by volunteering with various associations and organizations, including:

• United Way of Greater Richmond & Petersburg - Virginia Income Tax Assistance (VITA): Jean dedicates her time to support the Virginia Income Tax Assistance program under the umbrella of the United Way of Greater Richmond & Petersburg.
• 2023 Special Olympics Summer Games - Special Olympics Virginia, Inc.: She is actively involved in the Special Olympics Virginia, Inc., particularly in the coordination of the 2023 Special Olympics Summer Games.
• Separating Personal & Business Expenses – Corporation for Findlay Market: Jean contributes her expertise to the Corporation for Findlay Market, focusing on the crucial aspect of separating personal and business expenses.
• Business Finance Basics presentation for Food Truck Incubator participants - Development Authority of the Greater Bluefield Area, Inc.: She engages with the Development Authority of the Greater Bluefield Area, Inc., providing a Business Finance Basics presentation for participants in the Food Truck Incubator program.
• STEAM in the City Day, MLK Middle School - Richmond Public Schools Education Foundation, Inc.: Jean actively participates in STEAM in the City Day at MLK Middle School, an initiative organized by the Richmond Public Schools Education Foundation, Inc.
• Education and Transition Conference - Down’s Syndrome Association of Greater Richmond, Inc.: She volunteers at the Education and Transition Conference organized by the Down’s Syndrome Association of Greater Richmond, Inc.
• Fetch a Cure Pets Parade Benefit and Auction - Fetch, Inc.: Jean is involved in organizing and supporting the Fetch a Cure Pets Parade Benefit and Auction under the banner of Fetch, Inc.
• Richmond Folk Festival – Venture Richmond, Inc.: Additionally, she contributes her time and efforts to the Richmond Folk Festival through her involvement with Venture Richmond, Inc.
• Girls For A Change: Jean works with Girls For A Change to empower young Black girls to thrive in the local community.
• Next Move Program:  Jean volunteers with the program that provides assistance to young adults with diverse abilities, guiding them towards promising and bright futures.
